How do I upgrade it?

To upgrade the CP82 device, please follow the steps below:

1. Connect to WiFi: Use your phone to connect to the device's WiFi. The WiFi name is exactly the same as the Bluetooth name, and the default password is 88888888.

2. Access the admin page: After connecting successfully, enter 192.168.1.101 in the address bar of your phone's browser to open the device management page.

3. Perform the upgrade:

iPhone users: Find and tap “Update” at the bottom of the page and wait for the progress to complete. After the upgrade is finished, the device will restart automatically and reconnect to the car. Reference video: https://youtu.be/DYHIbqWi880

Android users: After entering the admin page, first tap “Switch to P2P”, then press the HOME button on your phone to return to the main screen, and open Settings >> WiFi >> Advanced settings >> WiFi Direct >> connect to the device's WiFi and make sure it is connected. Then go back to your phone's browser, enter 192.168.1.101 again to access the admin page, scroll to the very bottom and tap “Update”, and wait for it to finish. ⚠️ Notes: During the upgrade, do not disconnect the power, do not operate the phone, and do not lock the screen or exit the upgrade page; otherwise the upgrade may fail and you will need to start over. If the upgrade fails, the device will show a red light; simply follow the above steps strictly and upgrade again. The product appearance in the video tutorial may look slightly different, but the online upgrade procedure for Adapter-type products is exactly the same.
