The product cannot connect to the phone. How can this be resolved? – Help Center

1. Check phone compatibility: The CP82 only converts the vehicle's original wired CarPlay into wireless CarPlay and only supports iPhone connections; Android phones are not supported. Please confirm whether your device is an iPhone with iOS 10 or later.

2. Check the indicator light status: After the device is powered on, the red light stays on steadily; after successful communication with the car, the blue light blinks (at this point the device is in the state of waiting for a phone connection); after the phone connects successfully, the blue light stays on steadily. If the indicator lights do not show the above status, check whether the power supply of the USB port is stable.

3. Perform a device reset: While powered on, press and hold the hidden button on the device body for 15 seconds and then release it to complete the hardware reset. After the reset, the white light will blink; please wait for the device to restart automatically before trying to pair again.

4. Connect the network and access the backend correctly: Turn on the phone's WiFi and search for the WiFi signal with the same name as the device's Bluetooth, with the default password 88888888. After a successful connection, enter 192.168.1.101 in the phone browser address bar to access the device's LAN backend.

5. Clear the phone's cached records: If the device cannot be found or the connection fails, clear the saved Bluetooth and WiFi connection records in the phone settings, then restart the phone and search and pair again.

6. Check the firmware version: After entering the backend, tap “Update” to view the latest version. During the upgrade, do not cut off power, lock the screen, or exit the interface. For detailed instructions, refer to the video: https://youtu.be/DYHIbqWi880

7. If the issue is still not resolved after following the above steps, please upload a device LOG to us as described in the manual, noting the vehicle model and year, the fault symptom, and the vehicle VIN (frame number), and send us a screenshot of the successful upload screen.
