Reset and update the software
Turn on the Wi-Fi on your phone, search for the Mini Cube Wi-Fi network (the Wi-Fi name should match the Mini Cube's Bluetooth name), tap to connect, and enter the password 88888888. Once connected, open the browser on your phone, enter 192.168.1.101 in the address bar, and tap Confirm. Access the Mini Cube's backend, find the reset option, and tap Reset. Then access the backend again in the same way, scroll to the bottom of the page, and check for the latest software update.
Make sure your phone meets the requirements
Please make sure your phone's operating system is Android 11 or higher, and that Android Auto, Google Play Services, Google Account Manager, Google Maps, and Google Assistant are all up to date.
Check the wired connection
Before the wireless connection, use a data cable to connect your phone to the vehicle's Android Auto to make sure the wired connection works properly.
Clear the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection history on your phone.
Go to your phone's Bluetooth > Settings, press and hold all paired devices, and select "Forget Device".
Go to your phone's Settings > Wi-Fi, press and hold all connected networks, and select "Forget Network".
Clear the Android Auto app cache.
Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Android Auto, tap "Storage", clear all stored data, and try reconnecting your Ottocast product.
Please check whether your phone is in power-saving mode. Switch the phone to normal mode and try again.
Please check the Wi-Fi on your phone.
Please check whether your phone has the Personal Hotspot enabled, or whether it is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If so, disable and disconnect them.
If the problem persists, please record a video and we will provide you with a satisfactory solution.
