How to perform an external update via an SD card – Help Center

1. Contact technical support to obtain the firmware update file.

2. Update steps:

1. Format a MicroSD card with a capacity of no more than 32GB as FAT32.

For a Windows computer, right-click the SD card name → Format → select FAT32 (default) to format it.

2. Place the downloaded “update.zip” file in the root directory of the MicroSD card.

The file path should be: MicroSD card name > update.zip.

3. Open the SD card slot on the OttoAibox device and insert the MicroSD card.

4. After the OttoAibox is powered on and detects the SD card, a window will pop up. Please select “Upgrade”.

5. During the update process, the red and blue indicator lights will flash alternately. If the device is connected to a TV or other devices, do not turn off the power or stop it during this period.

6. After the update is complete, the device will restart automatically.

7. After confirming that the device has started up, turn off the OttoAibox power and use a SIM card pin to remove the MicroSD card.
