1. Check the vehicle's CarPlay function. Use your phone and connect it to the vehicle's USB port with a USB data cable to see whether CarPlay starts. If it cannot start, your vehicle does not support this function.
2. Check whether the USB plug is inserted stably; insert the device into another USB port of the vehicle to test (if available).
3. Check how the device's indicator light lights up: when power is connected, it stays solid red
When the vehicle communicates successfully, it blinks blue
When the phone connects successfully, it stays solid blue
4. Reset and update the device: press and hold the button for 15 seconds to reset the device.
To update on the iPhone:
(1) If your iPhone is connected to wireless CarPlay, enter 192.168.1.101 in the iPhone's browser and tap “Update” (if an update is available).
(2) If your iPhone cannot connect to wireless CarPlay, manually join the adapter's Wi-Fi network, with password 88888888. Then enter 192.168.1.101 in the iPhone's browser and tap “Update”.
5. If the above methods still cannot resolve the issue, contact customer service and provide the Log (the user manual explains how to collect the Log), a video describing the fault, and the vehicle's year, model, and multimedia head unit software version.
